STATEMENT

My work explores the relationship between nature-created and man-made products. Nature is perfect in its creations, while man learns and constantly makes mistakes. Both the ordinary and the sacred have their place in our lives. I am interested in the enlivening of waste materials, paper, iron, plastic, ennobled by the natural materials with which I combine them. In my work, the meeting of eastern tradition and multi-layered Italian culture crystallize in contemporary installations revealing the complex balance of urban elements and pieces of nature. The unthinkable at first glance entangling of wire and plant elements encourages the viewer to open the mind and accept the experiment. The short life of the living form directs me to go down the transcendental path of constant transformation of forms with open-mindedness and pure child-like consciousness.
